The bottom of the frame is marked CUSTER'S LAST FIGHT/PRESENTED BY ANHEUSER-BUSCH, INC., ST. LOUIS, MO. Budweiser KING OF BEERSEstate found: 1952 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser "King of Beers" cardboard framed advertising litho Custer's Last Stand,a graphic picture of Custer's Battle at Little Big Horn which graced many a bar room in the 50-60's. The print measures 42 in. x 28.5 in. and is in good original condition, it has a crease on the left side of the frame, also mainly in the cloud's you can see age spots (see pics). Anheuser-Busch, who commissioned the original painting, Custer’s Last Fight, which was painted by Cassilly Adams in 1884. A lithograph was then prepared by F. Otto Becker in 1889. It was distributed as an advertising poster by Anheuser-Busch. Up for auction a very nice pre-pro, c1890, very rare aqua colored blob top bottle complete with lightning stopper, bail wire, and tie, from BUDWEISER BREWING CO, BROOKLYN. NY. Bottle stands 9 1/4" tall, and is boldly embossed, and damage free. The brewery was known as BUDWEISER from 1884 till 1898. At that time the brewery was forced to change their name, and chose the NASSAU BREWING CO. This was due to Anheuser-Busch of St. Louis who had held a patent on the Budweiser name brand since 1878.
