original pre prohibition advertising brochure Anheuser Busch Budweiser prints
CollectionHero
This is an original pre-prohibition advertising piece.  It is undated, but the contents point to an approximate date of circa 1912.  The first page gives Adolphus Busch as the current President of the company.  He died in 1913.  Also, content is focusing on influencing the reader as to the healthiness of beer.  They throw hard liquor under the bus, but beer is "recognized by physicians and scientists as the one of the principal promoters of true temperance Beer is also a "moral tonic in the community."
