Chilmark released this Budweiser display in 1981 for an eye popping $2,100. Made of 295 individual pieces the spectacular design and high quality craftsmanship are self evident. Fine details such as eight individual horses, the Budweiser Dalmatian riding shotgun, sterling silver and 24k yellow gold accents make this an exceptional piece. If the engraved placard stating edition limited to 5,000 was correct itâ??d be rare, but during production the molds were destroyed and why you never have or will see a piece numbered higher than 890 making this an exceptionally rare item. Crafted in Brazil, the lot f a tired five of each stein (from 1980 and 1981), all of which were on display at a bar here in town. Budweiser CS50 "Snowy Woodland" Holiday Stein With Lid, Issued 1981 by Anheuser-Busch. This stein is from the "Holiday Series" which began in 1980. This is the second issue in the series, and they were only produced for that single holiday season, 1981. This shows that they were a very limited run. These are ceramic, made in Brazil by Ceramarte. They were made to show an aged, antique look. This means each has a very slightly different patina. This one has no damage. Please see pictures for condition.
