Measures approx 42" wide x 29" tall. The artist is Lloyd R Jones as shown. Marked 1951 at the bottom. Constructed entirely of cardboard. Notice the various Falstaff bottles and case. Lots going on on this one. The item displays nicely but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina from years of being in a bar. There are various stains throughout, some finish and paint loss, mostly to the frame, a couple of tears to the hanging mechanism on the rear, corner bumps, etc. Still retains nice bright colors and what great subject matter! Please expect the item to show various other areas of wear and tear and patina from being approx 72 years old. The item is very large so shipping will be expensive. Budweiser bar lights rescued from a Prospect Bolivar E9th bar from way back. Solid metal. No cheap plastic. Still doing research, but looks like 1960-70 era. Back lit Budweiser logo center panel, with mirror on one side and back-lit photo on the other side. One photo shows horses grazing and the other is a thoroughbred race. All original wiring. Use F20T12 fluorescent lamps and starters. Clean, but could use a good detailing br />26" X 12" X 4" each
This is a very rare sign. It had to be rescued from a barn. It has been cleaned up nicely and has all its original parts, nothing had to be replaced and it works great. The front of the sign is plastic and has a noticeable corner missing on the top right.
