They aren't marked at all, but I'm pretty sure they're silver plated on the cup portion. The eagle base is gold tone. The four cups come in an attaché style carrying case. All of the cups have surface scratches, scuffs, and tarnish.. we just wiped them down with a wet rag, so they may benefit from a proper polishing. One of the wings on one eagle has what looks like the metal dried out and chipped away.. it has a rough, dry texture and the gold is gone in those spots. All eagles have tarnish and discoloration. Case has some edge wear and discoloration spots. Case hardware has surface corrosion. The fabric lining inside of the case is crumpled and lifting up in spots. Here is a scarce, interesting Anheuser Busch Match Safe from the late 1800's with the smaller A eagle. It has been found in the Cooperstown New York area which is the original home of the Busch beer family. It is possible the monogram is Otsego County in NY has a lot of Hops growers due to the ideal soil in growing hops. It is possible that thee monogram may be that of an original Busch family member. It measures 2 1/2” tall and 1 1/4” wide and about 1/4 thick. Original safety matches are in the case. I believe the material is nickel over brass, but I am not completely certain. Please emai

- Condition: Excellent condition. These Mugs were kept as display and have never been used. No stains, no chips/cracks, and no signs of wear. There is one cosmetic flaw that is a manufacturer error. On picture #10 you'll see that the handle of the 1981 stein has a mark on it that matches the color of the glossy trim.
