This fabulous, large (over 5 feet long!). lighted sign was created in the 1960s as a Budweiser promotional item. The display sits in an open, bespoke oak wood display case with brass corners and red felt backing.
I HAVE HAD THIS SKIN IN MY COLLECTION I HELD BACK AROUND 8 YEARS AGO, THIS IS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE AND MOST LIKELY WON'T HAVE A CHANCE AT ONE IN THE FUTURE.
It is in excellent working condition. It is approx. 8 feet long when side by side by side. All 3 pieces have leaning bar on the back so it also can be displayed on a shelf.

Excellent colors very bright with no or little fading. Surface rust on florescent light inside. Two small cracks on right side not front of sign.
Cleaned tobacco tar off sign and rewired plug for safety.
IT IS IN WORKING CONDITION AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES. IT DOES MOVE ROUND AND ROUND BUT CAN GET STUCK I JUST GIVE A LITTLE SHAKE AND GOES RIGHT BACK TO MOVING AROUND. IT MAY BE BECAUSE I HAVE IT SITTING ON THE TABLE AND NOT HANGING.

Vintage Paired 1960s Budweiser Lighted Beer Signs! Very Rare, even more so as a mqtching pair! Size (each) 3ft x 1ft x 4 in All original, tested working. No modification, 100% complete! This pair of 1960s matching Budweiser signs feature the vintage bowtie logo in a half bubble dome. These were meant to be used as a paired set like bookends and it ia very rare to see a set of them, let alone a matching set that is all original, working, and complete. The picture of the cowboys on horseback can be removed and changed / swapped put with anything you wish. The right sign has very small chip damage where it ia missing a small piece. Overall there is very minor wear and tear. A few scuffs, nothing else is broken, the light works well without any flickering or loud hums The union made tags are still visible on the back. Otherwise, they shine like new . These have been carefully protected in closed and temperature controlled storage for the last 60 years. They originally came out of my grandparents small town bar tbey owned and operated for over 55 years. I have been the only other owner aside from my grandparents who purchased them from the budweiser distributer, as they came directly from the bar and into storage. These are sold working, but as is, no refunds. They will arrive in exact condition as stated. They will be shipped in q special container for safe armored transport, which they need because they are larger pieces. The front reads DuBois Budweiser beer, DUBOIS BREWING CO. DUBOIS PA. I believe the sign is made from celluloid. There are a couple flaws in the celluloid and that will be shown in the pictures. The patent numbers on the back are 2237968 and 2298373 which puts it at the date of early 1941.

Measures approx 20" wide x 14" high x 4" deep. Constructed of a metal backplate with hard plastic frame and a translucent skiing image between two pieces of glass. The Michelob logo is reverse painted glass with a gold anodized metal frame. Illuminated by a fluorescent tube with starter and transformer and works well. It takes a few seconds to ignite, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. The cord was degraded and short, so I had a new cord, plug, and an in line thumbwheel type switch installed. The item is super cool and would be a great addition to any bar, man cave or collection, but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina. There is a crack to the plastic frame at the top right. The Michelob logo shows minor paint loss and staining etc. There is finish loss to the gold anodized metal logo surround. There are some scratches to the translucent insert just above the Michelob logo, along with various other scratches and scrapes and stains, etc. Besides that just the normal wear and tear and patina from being over 60 years old. I would think that you would have to look long and hard to find a better example.
