Stunning labels and stamped cork! They stamped the cork to prevent counterfeiting of their beer. Those labels were original to that bottle. These would have been used together (including a neck label) to celebrate the awards Anheuser Busch had received at Philadelphia in 1876, Paris 1878, and Atlanta in 1881.
This nice Fob/Token has been dated as Pre Prohibition The indicators are the reference of "Faust" shown on the refrigerator car. The refrigerator car was introduced by Anheuser Busch in 1881. That production was first reached in the late 1890's.
The stein features Louie from their Famous Budweiser Commercials, opening up his favorite beer. This is not your average stein, as he measures about 8" long (across the handle) and stands about 10 1/4 inches tall! Louie's head, along with the top of the Budweiser Bottle flip up as the lid! The lid has some play from side to side but is very typical of the great rendition of Louie! This guy is very detailed! Individually numbered #18815 and comes with the COA & Original Box as shown! This stein comes with no chips or cracks and is in
GREAT SHAPE!
