Rare Antique 1903 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Meyercord Ganymede Wooden Advertising Sign I am so pleased to present to all of you this extremely scarce 1903 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Wooden sign. Meyercord of Chicago printed the litho depicting the Greek mythological character Ganymede being taken by a bald eagle, based on a drawing by F. Kirschbach in 1892.Sign is made of a 3/8 inch thick piece of wood and measures 30 inches by 20 inches.All photos taken outside in natural light.Condition is very good plus in my opinion given that it is 121 years old. Colors are bright. Lettering is excellent.There are areas that shows signs of wear, damage to right bottom corner, some minor white paint specks, back wood is peeling on left side and bottom.PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOGRAPHS CAREFULLY.These signs do not come up for sale often at all.
