Very scarce Michelob beer sign. Measures approx 19" tall x 15" wide x 2" deep. Constructed of a thick composite type material with a paper lithograph bearded man insert. This is super cool and displays very nicely but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina. A couple of the small blue faux jewels are missing. There is a small crack on the left side. There is an area of finish loss to the paper lithograph. There are various areas of stains, paint loss, dirt, etc. I'm not trying to degrade the sign as it looks great for the age, just trying to be thorough. Buy it now as I seriously doubt you will again have the opportunity to acquire one of these rare signs anytime in the foreseeable future, if ever again! Budweiser Malt Syrup Beer Glass Globe from the Anheuser Busch Brewery located in St. Louis, MO. Globe is prohibition era from between 1920 - 1933 and is in excellent condition for its age. Would look amazing on a gas globe ring with a light bulb in it. There is a notch on the bottom rim that I believe is there for a light and cord to pass through. The globe is approximately 7” x 5”. Vintage Anheuser busch Prohibition Era Grape Bouquet Tin Sign. 39”x18”inch size. With the beginning of Prohibition in 1920 brewers like Anheuser Bush needed to come up with another product. Grape Bouquet was one. Prohibition ended in 1933 so this sign dates from this era of American history. This 90-100 year old sign wears its age well. There was a limited run of these made. This is an extremely rare mirror. This mirror is in very good condition. The frame does have a few spots that can be touched up. Looks like it had tape underneath the glass in two different spots. I enclosed pictures. It is a great looking sign, that would look great in any bar man cave. BUDWEISER CLYDESDALE HORSE HEAD TROPHY draft beer tap handle. St. Louis, Missouri. Founded in 1860 by Eberhard Anheuser. Introduced to the public in 1876. The King of beers. 5.0%ABV. American lager. Vintage 1990's Budweiser Clydesdale Horse head. Let's call this one Team leader; Mark. Tap is listed as used. It has never been used or poured a beer. It was part of a large collection and was previously on display. It remains in excellent condition and shows no wear. There are some small gold/copper marks that appear to be highlights and patina and not damage except maybe the small mark on the neck between the second and 3rd nub. Hard to be sure. It looks amazing. A real Beauty! Like a show winner at the Kentucky Derby. First place trophy. I have owned several and they all look slightly different. Hard to install on an inline service because it is wide and won't spin around. When these get used in a service setting the first thing to go is one of the nubs on the mane. (the last 2 pictures are of the one I currently have on display and needs dusting, shown for reference only). Stands almost 9 inches tall. NOTES* I have seen the Clydesdale's in person at the Dover NASCAR race and they are nothing short of Majestic. Duke, Mark, Bud and Captain are the most popular right now. Tap is over 30 years old now. Anheuser Busch made several versions of unique animal taps from the early to mid 1990's up until the early 2000's when they tried to market the craft scene with the Shock Top guy who started another era of cool collectible taps. Early versions were high quality and made with a heavy resin material and a more real like wood base with Budweiser in beautiful white script. They later switched to a cheaper lightweight material with paper labels. Mostly animals and sports themed. CLYDESDALE FACTS: They have been a live part of Anheuser Busch advertising since 1933 to celebrate the end of prohibition. Each horse must meet specific criteria to become a member of the wagon pulling team including gender, temperament, size, weight, age and color including 4 stocking white feet. It takes 8 to pull a wagon but they use 10 in case an issue arises. 4 year old minimum. Average 2000 plus pounds. A recent PETA protest has made Budweiser stop "docking" horses tails as of 2024 due to it being inhumane to the animals. *Tap has been turned and rotated so that all sides are pictured.
