Vintage 1950's Busch Lager Beer metal & plastic lighted hanging over-the-cooler beer sign from Anheuser-Busch, Inc. of St. Louis, Missouri. One of the very first, if not the first sign to be hung over the beer cooler.

Exceptionally Rare! We love the versatility of this sign. Has the classic 1950's look, but we are not 100% sure of exact age. It could be late 1940's as it does have the color common to that era, but it is not dated.
Hard to find Budweiser lighted Sign. Illuminated by a single fluorescent tube and works fine. It takes a few seconds to ignite when first plugged in, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures.

Rare 1950’s Budweiser Beer lighted wall sign. Reverse painted glass featuring a deer hunting scene and the Budweiser logo. Made by Raymond M. Price & Associates. Measures approx 19 1/2” x 14”. Excellent condition overall. I didn’t see any marks or scratches in the reverse painted glass. The gold around the logo frame is also in above average condition with only a few areas of discoloration to the gold. The plastic frame has a few marks and scratches here and there. Mostly to the sides. There is one area on the front edge of the frame on the right side a little more than half way down. I am not sure if it a crack or a deep scratch. Didn’t want to mess around with it too much to try to investigate. The only real damage to the plastic frame on the bottom, back corner on the left side. It is a small chip out of the plastic about 1/4”. It is only noticeable when looking at the bottom. One other note on the plastic frame is that there is little, if any, deterioration of the plastic. Most of these types I have seen the plastic has turned chalky and become very brittle. Not seeing that with this one. The plastic still has a sheen to it and does not seem fragile at all. Original hanging chain is still intact and fine. The back metal of the case is also above average. It has the expected minor scratch here and there, but there are not a lot of scratches, nothing major, and is not beat up at all. Interior of light is in excellent condition also. No damage and surprisingly clean. The original electric components and cord are present and in good working condition Overall seems to be in exceptional condition for its age and intended use. It is not in dead mint condition, but it is in above average condition. Please examine pictures closely and use zoom ability to evaluate condition and defects. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
Up for bid is a 1940's Michelob draught beer sign made by the brewers of Budweiser. It is a beautiful rare reverse painted glass sign in a brass base. This came out of New York City from a bar that was closed in the 1950's. Neat old RARE Budweiser sign. 1950s Vtg Budweiser Lighted Beer Bar Sign Busch Gardens Tampa Florida with Parrots Measures approx 20" wide x 14" high x 4" deep. Constructed of a metal backplate with hard plastic frame and a translucent image between two pieces of glass. The Budweiser sign is Illuminated by a fluorescent tube with starter and transformer and works well. It takes a few seconds to ignite, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. The cord is short, and looks to by the original plug.The item is super cool and would be a great addition to any bar, man cave or collection, shows areas of wear and tear and patina. This is a beautiful sign from the 1950s with one of the more rare scenes Budweiser made. The scene looks to be in great shape with just some marking on the woman’s jacket where maybe the sun hit it. The glass is in great shape. The Budweiser logo is in pretty good shape with some deterioration across the top. The gold trim has a layer of pitting on it - I scrubbed it a little and can see some of the gold but didn’t want to go too crazy.The white case has its fair share of marks. There is a crack at the top screw and then what appears to be cracking on the bottom of the sign near two screws, but you can’t feel them when you run your fingers over them. The current light does make a humming noise. The lower half of the power cord was replaced, so there is a splice with electrical tape joining two cords.Sign is approximately 20” x 13.5” (Condition: Pre-Owned)
