I have bought and sold a few of these vintage signs in the past but have never seen one new in the box!! Holy Moly! The original paper is still on this light!! This needs to find it's way to a new home where it will be the highlight of the man cave or diva den!!This is brand new, never installed or used, never plugged in. Mint condition find and extremely rare! These come as early as the 1970's. There is a stamp on the box from March, 1999. Not sure if that dates this or the stamp came from someone else.I had a knowledgeable Ebayer message me with this information this Budweiser Parade hanging sign is the remake version from the late 90's. An original would have had all (6) breweries in operation at the time on the side of the wagon, (2nd) the Boxes on the wagon would be (3) colors not (2) as shown in the pictures (3) the underside of the wagon would be White, & (4) the listing on the top would be from Lakeside Plastics"I would hate to ship this. Rare Antique 1903 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Meyercord Ganymede Wooden Advertising Sign I am so pleased to present to all of you this extremely scarce 1903 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Wooden sign. Meyercord of Chicago printed the litho depicting the Greek mythological character Ganymede being taken by a bald eagle, based on a drawing by F. Kirschbach in 1892.Sign is made of a 3/8 inch thick piece of wood and measures 30 inches by 20 inches.All photos taken outside in natural light.Condition is very good plus in my opinion given that it is 121 years old. Colors are bright. Lettering is excellent.There are areas that shows signs of wear, damage to right bottom corner, some minor white paint specks, back wood is peeling on left side and bottom.PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOGRAPHS CAREFULLY.These signs do not come up for sale often at all. In excellent working order, with only mild signs of use, including light scuffing to the plastic surface and just a bit of wear to some of the black-out paint on the tubing.
