Vintage Paired 1960s Budweiser Lighted Beer Signs! Very Rare, even more so as a mqtching pair! Size (each) 3ft x 1ft x 4 in All original, tested working. No modification, 100% complete! This pair of 1960s matching Budweiser signs feature the vintage bowtie logo in a half bubble dome. These were meant to be used as a paired set like bookends and it ia very rare to see a set of them, let alone a matching set that is all original, working, and complete. The picture of the cowboys on horseback can be removed and changed / swapped put with anything you wish. The right sign has very small chip damage where it ia missing a small piece. Overall there is very minor wear and tear. A few scuffs, nothing else is broken, the light works well without any flickering or loud hums The union made tags are still visible on the back. Otherwise, they shine like new . These have been carefully protected in closed and temperature controlled storage for the last 60 years. They originally came out of my grandparents small town bar tbey owned and operated for over 55 years. I have been the only other owner aside from my grandparents who purchased them from the budweiser distributer, as they came directly from the bar and into storage. These are sold working, but as is, no refunds. They will arrive in exact condition as stated. They will be shipped in q special container for safe armored transport, which they need because they are larger pieces. Rare Budweiser Pre Prohibition Tin Litho Sign Charger Tray “Say When”A rare Pre-Prohibition Budweiser Anheuser Busch "Say when" tin litho sign or charger tray. The sign or charger tray depicts a party scene in the 1910's in which a well-dressed couple is apparently making beer-cheese fondue. The Lady, who is wearing a red evening gown, appears to be stirring the beer and cheese over a gas flame while a gentleman, dressed in a white shirt and bow tie with a black dinner jacket, stands closely beside her, pouring the Budweiser Beer into the mixture. Oh, looky what we have here! Nothing says summer like this one! The iconic, patriotic Budweiser water skiing ladies in Red, White and Blue one-piece swimsuits, straight out of the late 1950s or early 1960s and ready to add some "zing" to your bar, rec-room or garage! Or do what I did, and store it away for 20 years. It's come time for the girls to have a new home and be enjoyed.The market for these signs is all but long-gone, so don't let this one get away. This is the one you want for your Budweiser "bow-tie" collection. Please examine photos and read this item description carefully before bidding.This sign is in good condition given its roughly 60 to 65 years. Its fluorescent light(s) operates just fine and makes only a very faint, nearly inaudible humming noise. It does not have any signs of smoke staining whatsoever, and comes to you from a smoke-free home. I bought this sign during the relatively early days of eBay during the mid-to-late 1990s. I did have it displayed for a few years and only occasionally plugged it in. This sign spent the vast majority of its time with me wrapped in bubble-wrap and surrounded by a cushion of peanuts in a climate controlled storage area. During my ownership, this sign has never been exposed to temperature or humidity extremes.This sign is heavy and weighs somewhere in the area of 11.5 lbs. It is 20 inches long, 13.5 inches tall, and it tapers from a top "thickness" of 1.5 inches to a bottom of 3.5 inches. It has its original chain attached for hanging. The sign has a short "pig-tail" two-prong electrical cord and does not have an on-off switch. I have made no changes to the cord since I received the sign, and I have never opened the sign to inspect its interior. The sign was manufactured by Raymond M. Price and Associates at Chesterton, Indiana and it is labeled as having been Union Made (see photos).This sign is not without a few well-deserved flaws, and it should be considered fragile and handled with care. I've done my best to document any such issues in my photos. The sign has chips and cracks in both upper corners, and I suspect that these may have been the result of less-than desirable packing for shipping by the previous owner. On the upper left corner, there's actually a small hole that I've covered with a small piece of Scotch tape to prevent any debris from entering the case. I am going to leave this piece of tape in place for shipping. The bottom corners of the case also have some chipping and cracking. The lower right corner of the case, only if you rest the sign on its back and lift the case up, does pull slightly away from the back of the sign. The sign is missing its center lower pan-head screw on the bottom-rear of the sign (see last photo). None of these issues will not come into play in normal hanging, display and operation of this sign. It would be my suggestion, before displaying this sign, that you cover these minor cracks and pulling away of the case with white high-quality 3M electrical tape. The sign shows no indications of ever having been glued or otherwise repaired.This sign will be sold AS-IS to the highest bidder in an auction-format sale, with NO RESERVE. I am responsive to questions and encourage you to ask about anything I've not covered here. Please don't ask me for a buy-it-now price as I do not have one. All sales are FINAL. Hereâ??s a listing for a vintage rare double sided Budweiser Clydesdale team sign that I purchased from an estate sale with the intention of restoring it but I just do not have the time. This sign does not spin. It wants to light but it probably needs bulbs or starters. Half of the top flashes and the bottom is dim.
