The 1st in the "Archive" series of steins. Made in Brazil by Ceramarte, this stein borrows from a painting in the Anheuser-Busch Archives. The attractive illustration, depicting the U.S. toasting Christopher Columbus on the 400th anniversary of his historic voyage, was part of Anheuser Busch s exhibit at the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The detailed lid is pewter with a ceramic inlay. Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity CS190 - 1993 " Ganymede " lidded stein. The 2nd in the Archive series of steins. This 6 1/2" stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Stein depicts a popular turn of the century advertising sign in which Ganymede is being carried aloft to Mt. Olympus, to serve Zeus. The eagle clasps a classic bottle of Budweiser, while Ganymede holds a decree stating Budweiser's superior quality. The pewter lid with ceramic inlay features an antique A&Eagle on the thumbrest. This 3rd edition in Budweiser's Archives series, features dramatic turn of the century advertising artwork, remarkably reproduced in full-color ceramic relief. The stein's pewter lid includes a full-color ceramic relief inlay and antique A&Eagle logo on the thumbrest. Individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
