Vintage 1950's Busch Lager Beer metal & plastic lighted hanging over-the-cooler beer sign from Anheuser-Busch, Inc. of St. Louis, Missouri. One of the very first, if not the first sign to be hung over the beer cooler.

Measures approx 22" wide x 14" deep x 13" high. Constructed of metal with galvanized metal interior. Comes with the bottle opener and ice pick as shown. Retains the original drain plug. Built like a Sherman tank! It has the Busch advertising on both front and back. The item displays nicely but does show plenty of wear and tear and patina as shown. I did not observe any major damage but it does have plenty of areas of rust and paint loss etc. The only rust through observed is a small area on one of the four stamped metal feet on the bottom. The gasket is present but is degraded in areas. I took close up pics for your review. All told a super cool and hard to find cooler that would look great in your collection or in the back of your rat rod! Will be well packaged and insured for safe delivery. Local pickup is welcomed. Neat old Central Royal beer cooler. There is a dent on the side, which I took a close up pic of. Shows areas of rust, mostly on the bottom. No rust through was observed and the cooler still operates as it should, with working handle, hinges, latches, and the gasket still is present.
