No dead spots! Has been turned on and/or used very little as it has never been removed from it's original crate. Produced by Mount Vernon Neon Sign Co in the mid 1950s. I have wiped it down a bit to better show illumination of neon, however you may decide to give it a thorough cleaning.

Rare Antique 1903 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Meyercord Ganymede Wooden Advertising Sign I am so pleased to present to all of you this extremely scarce 1903 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Wooden sign. Meyercord of Chicago printed the litho depicting the Greek mythological character Ganymede being taken by a bald eagle, based on a drawing by F. Kirschbach in 1892.Sign is made of a 3/8 inch thick piece of wood and measures 30 inches by 20 inches.All photos taken outside in natural light.Condition is very good plus in my opinion given that it is 121 years old. Colors are bright. Lettering is excellent.There are areas that shows signs of wear, damage to right bottom corner, some minor white paint specks, back wood is peeling on left side and bottom.PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOGRAPHS CAREFULLY.These signs do not come up for sale often at all. The front reads DuBois Budweiser beer, DUBOIS BREWING CO. DUBOIS PA. I believe the sign is made from celluloid. There are a couple flaws in the celluloid and that will be shown in the pictures. The patent numbers on the back are 2237968 and 2298373 which puts it at the date of early 1941.

Each measures approx 9" high. Constructed of a ceramic type material. Research suggests that there were only 200 sets of these steins manufactured and each were unique and hand painted. If you examine the logos at the bottom front, the one with the pink dress is engraved and marked 1973, where the others say "The". There are also no markings on the bottom of this stein. The one with the yellow dress says "The", which was painted over an engraved 1973. I presume that there were 2 styles manufactured, and instead of painting in the "1973" the word "The" was painted instead. Possibly the workers in Italy were sampling some Anheuser Busch products? Just wanted to make you aware, as I did not notice the error until I examined it closely. The markings on the bottom of the red dress stein are smudged as shown. Again, most likely a factory flaw but I am not an expert. The steins are in good vintage condition, and the only damage or possible factory flaw observed is on the rim of the red dress stein. I took close up pics for your review. Please expect the items to show areas of handling wear, shelf wear, and factory imperfections etc. Please closely examine the pics using the zoom feature for best description. This is an extremely rare and very hard to find - Anheuser-Busch of St. Louis, MO - Metal Beer Crate Box from the years 1906-1908. This is a crate box that does not come up for sale very often and is one of the earliest beer crates that can be found. The stamping on the side shows patent dates of 1906-1908. The last documented sale of this style of crate was in 2012. Don't wait another 11 years to find one!This crate has been in the same family for over 50+ years. It was a crate from a local Montana brewing company in the early 1900's with their label still attached to the side! The label attached says "Billings Brewing Company of Billings, Montana". This box stayed in the same city it's whole life and now the journey will extend to a new owner. Own this with pride and as a piece of Montana brewing history! This crate has been very well taken care of with all the original paint and character to showcase the last 115+ years. The crate box was made for the early invention of ice and allowed a block of ice to sit in the box and as it melted it would drain to the bottom holes. The graphics are amazing with all the lettering still in original white. The box is solid and very heavy. It is approx. 22" inches long, 12.5" inches tall, and 14.5" inches deep. It has some rust thru spots mostly on a few corners but otherwise just age and character. The top lid has a working lock latch.Please see all the pictures and let me know if you have any questions!
