It's 6' long by almost 2' tall and features a complete 8-Horse Clydesdale team with the classic Budweiser wagon including two driver figures and even the famous Dalmation. Rare Antique 1903 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Meyercord Ganymede Wooden Advertising Sign I am so pleased to present to all of you this extremely scarce 1903 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Wooden sign. Meyercord of Chicago printed the litho depicting the Greek mythological character Ganymede being taken by a bald eagle, based on a drawing by F. Kirschbach in 1892.Sign is made of a 3/8 inch thick piece of wood and measures 30 inches by 20 inches.All photos taken outside in natural light.Condition is very good plus in my opinion given that it is 121 years old. Colors are bright. Lettering is excellent.There are areas that shows signs of wear, damage to right bottom corner, some minor white paint specks, back wood is peeling on left side and bottom.PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOGRAPHS CAREFULLY.These signs do not come up for sale often at all. I have included a pic of both signs together in case you are interested in both! Neat old Budweiser sign. Measures approx 20" wide x 14" high x 4" deep. Constructed of a metal backplate with hard plastic frame and a translucent train image between two pieces of glass. The Budweiser logo is reverse painted glass with a gold anodized metal frame. Illuminated by a fluorescent tube with starter and transformer and works well. It takes a few seconds to ignite, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. The cord is quite short, so you will likely need an extension cord to reach an outlet. The item is super cool and would be a great addition to any bar, man cave or collection, but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina. The Budweiser logo shows minor paint loss and staining etc. There is finish loss to the gold anodized metal logo surround. There is a little staining in areas of the hard plastic frame. I took close up pics for your review. Besides that just the normal wear and tear and patina from being over 60 years old. I would think that you would have to look long and hard to find a better example. All told a scarce and beautiful advertising piece that you will be proud to display and enjoy and wait for the compliments to roll in! Will be well packaged and insured for safe arrival. Up for bid is a 1940's Michelob draught beer sign made by the brewers of Budweiser. It is a beautiful rare reverse painted glass sign in a brass base. This came out of New York City from a bar that was closed in the 1950's. My friend was able to go into the bar for an estate sale when it opened up to the state, and pulled out a couple of really cool signs. This is one of the one's he was willing to part with. Neat old Falstaff rotating beer sign. Measures approx 18" tall x 13 1/2" wide x 7" deep at the base. Constructed of hard plastic. Illuminated by a small fluorescent tube with starter and transformer and works fine. It takes a few seconds to ignite when first turned on, which in normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. There is a thumbwheel type switch on the cord to turn on or off. There is a motor that turns the coin shaped sign. The motor comes right on and runs quietly, slowly spinning the sign. The item displays nicely but naturally shows plenty of wear and tear and patina from years of use in a tavern. I did not observe any cracks or major damage but there are various areas of staining, scratches, scrapes, rust, dirt, paint and finish loss etc. I took close up pic for your review. The sign must be leveled before turning on, to make sure the spinning coin does not contact the clear plastic surround. Many of these signs have that piece damaged or missing from not leveling before use. The sign will be disassembled for safe shipping. To disassemble, the coin simply slides up and off of the motor shaft. Remove the two screws on the top of the base cover and the cover and the clear plastic surround can be removed from the base, then remove the two screws securing the clear surround to the base cover and slide out through the slot. Reassemble in reverse. I will install the screws in the corresponding holes so they do not get lost. Will be well packaged and insured for safe delivery. Local pickup is welcomed. Very scarce Michelob beer sign. Measures approx 19" tall x 15" wide x 2" deep. Constructed of a thick composite type material with a paper lithograph bearded man insert. This is super cool and displays very nicely but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina. A couple of the small blue faux jewels are missing. There is a small crack on the left side. There is an area of finish loss to the paper lithograph. There are various areas of stains, paint loss, dirt, etc. I'm not trying to degrade the sign as it looks great for the age, just trying to be thorough. Super nice pair of new old stock Budweiser lamps. Each measures approx 16" high x 8" across at the shade. Constructed of hard plastic. Illuminated by a single incandescent bulb and works fine. There is a key type switch on the side to turn on or off. Original box, instructions, and mounting hardware will be included. The box and instructions are tattered and the top lids of the box are missing. This is an old antique sign that my family had found at my grandparents house as we were cleaning everything out for an estate sale. The sign is completely functional and lights up just as new. Neat old 1950s or 1960s Falstaff beer sign. Measurements in pics. Constructed of a hard plastic ice block with a real steel Falstaff beer can with plastic beer glass and bottle and hard plastic tongs. The tongs are removable and will be removed for shipping safety. The sign displays nicely but does show areas of wear and tear and patina. There are various cracks to the plastic parts, which is very common on these signs. The protruding part of the plastic bottle is deformed and damaged, possibly from heat but I am not sure. There are various areas of scuffs, scratches, scrapes etc. There is some dirt inside the sign. Measures approx 20" high x 12" wide x 4 1/2" deep. Constructed of hard plastic with a metal back plate. Illuminated by a single intermediate base incandescent bulb and works fine. There is an inline rotary type switch to turn on or off. The switch is a little finicky at times, which is common on the Falstaff signs of this era. The item displays nicely but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina to note. There is a tight crack on the Falstaff shield which protrudes onto the cup. There are areas of finish loss to the silver cup. The label shows some wear but is intact. I took close up pics for your review.
