eBay A vintage Budweiser clydesdale horse shoe sign. The base is wood, the horse shoe is plastic but is meant to show the size of the horse shoes worn by the famous clydesdales. There is a panel that slides up where the dollar was inserted. The dollar is a 1935 E series one dollar silver certificate. It is signed by several people. I'm assuming the date was important for whatever reason for the bill signing and saving. The sign is not dated, however is is marked "Item No. 14" on the front. On the back, there is a faded stamp mark. I can only make out "North Ave at 51st St. Milwaukee 8 Wis". I do not know the history of the sign or the bill signing. The condition is very very good. No cracks. It measures a little under 12" long, and 10" high. A rare and great collectible piece. Please examine all photos. NO international shipping. Thank you for your interest.
