This is an extremely rare and very hard to find - Anheuser-Busch of St. Louis, MO - Metal Beer Crate Box from the years 1906-1908. This is a crate box that does not come up for sale very often and is one of the earliest beer crates that can be found. The stamping on the side shows patent dates of 1906-1908. The last documented sale of this style of crate was in 2012. Don't wait another 11 years to find one!This crate has been in the same family for over 50+ years. It was a crate from a local Montana brewing company in the early 1900's with their label still attached to the side! The label attached says "Billings Brewing Company of Billings, Montana". This box stayed in the same city it's whole life and now the journey will extend to a new owner. Own this with pride and as a piece of Montana brewing history! This crate has been very well taken care of with all the original paint and character to showcase the last 115+ years. The crate box was made for the early invention of ice and allowed a block of ice to sit in the box and as it melted it would drain to the bottom holes. The graphics are amazing with all the lettering still in original white. The box is solid and very heavy. It is approx. 22" inches long, 12.5" inches tall, and 14.5" inches deep. It has some rust thru spots mostly on a few corners but otherwise just age and character. The top lid has a working lock latch.Please see all the pictures and let me know if you have any questions! Measures approx 20" wide x 14" high x 3 1/2" deep. Constructed of a metal back plate with hard plastic frame, a reverse painted glass Michelob logo with gold anodized metal trim, and a translucent skiing image between two pieces of glass. Illuminated by a single fluorescent tube with starter and transformer and works well. It takes a few seconds to ignite when first turned on, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. The cord was degrades, so I had a new 6 foot cord and plug with an inline on off switch installed. The item displays beautifully and is likely the nicest example available anywhere, but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina. There is a crack to the upper right side of the hard plastic frame that was reinforced from the rear with epoxy. Hard to notice when displayed. Besides that just the normal scratches, scrapes, scuffs, rust, dirt, stains, etc. from age and use. Will be well packaged and insured for safe delivery. Local pickup is welcomed. Neat old Falstaff toasting mugs motion sign. New old stock in the box. Measures approx 15" tall x 9" wide x 5" deep. Constructed of hard plastic. Illuminated by a single incandescent bulb and works fine. There is a motor that makes the mugs swing back and forth, as if they are toasting. Too cool! It comes right on when the switch is turned and runs nice and smoothly. Has a nice image of a cattle drive at the top, making this a very hard to find sign, as most of them had a fishing scene. The item is in beautiful condition, showing only minor storage and handling wear etc. There is some staining on the rear. I believe this is simply a reaction from the cord laying against it for years. All told a super nice and very hard to find example that you will be proud to display and enjoy and wait for the compliments to roll in! This is super cool and displays very nicely but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina. A couple of the small blue faux jewels are missing. There is a small crack on the left side. There is an area of finish loss to the paper lithograph. There are various areas of stains, paint loss, dirt, etc. I'm not trying to degrade the sign as it looks great for the age, just trying to be thorough.
