Some reproductions have been made, the repros can be spotted by having no towns on the side of the cart, the bottom of the cart is solid colored, the dalmatians have consistent dots and many other tell tale signs.This unit has had the switch changed from original and a new light. All bearings were lubed and light works perfectly. Some light scuffs on the glass but no cracks anywhere. Nothing that takes away from this amazing piece of Budweiser history. Due to the fragile nature of this light I will only ship it via UShip straight to your door hand delivered. This appears to be an authentic early version, probably from the 60’s, it is not a reproduction It’s about 24 inches wide, and about 17 inches tall including the top hanging ring. The power cord with chain is about 14 feet long. It weighs roughly 19 pounds not including the power cord and chain.There are scuffs and scratches on the exterior, and some discoloration on the top and bottom brown lids from previous use. There are no cracks, broken pieces, or missing pieces that I’m aware of. Overall, it’s in great shape considering its age.I’ve had it for over 20 years, assume it was previously displayed in a tavern, liquor store, or restaurant There are no returns on this item due to the cost to pack, ship, and insurance (approx. $250). This is the quarter-sewn oak lid from a barrel of Diastatic Malt Syrup. A-B made the syrup during Prohibition instead of beer. There is some insect damage to the lower left, but not too bad. The patina is great. The lid measures 20 1/2" in diameter and it is just under 1" thick. There also looks to be a thin layer of paper or some other kind of material between the slats

This is an extremely rare and very hard to find - Anheuser-Busch of St. Louis, MO - Metal Beer Crate Box from the years 1906-1908. This is a crate box that does not come up for sale very often and is one of the earliest beer crates that can be found. The stamping on the side shows patent dates of 1906-1908. The last documented sale of this style of crate was in 2012. Don't wait another 11 years to find one!This crate has been in the same family for over 50+ years. It was a crate from a local Montana brewing company in the early 1900's with their label still attached to the side! The label attached says "Billings Brewing Company of Billings, Montana". This box stayed in the same city it's whole life and now the journey will extend to a new owner. Own this with pride and as a piece of Montana brewing history! This crate has been very well taken care of with all the original paint and character to showcase the last 115+ years. The crate box was made for the early invention of ice and allowed a block of ice to sit in the box and as it melted it would drain to the bottom holes. The graphics are amazing with all the lettering still in original white. The box is solid and very heavy. It is approx. 22" inches long, 12.5" inches tall, and 14.5" inches deep. It has some rust thru spots mostly on a few corners but otherwise just age and character. The top lid has a working lock latch.Please see all the pictures and let me know if you have any questions!
