WOW! The crème day la crème, the unicorn of beer signs, the 1 in a million find!! New Old Stock (NOS) Vintage Budweiser Beer Carousel Clydesdale Parade Hanging Lamp Light Sign. I have bought and sold a few of these vintage signs in the past but have never seen one new in the box!! Holy Moly! The original paper is still on this light!! This needs to find it's way to a new home where it will be the highlight of the man cave or diva den!!This is brand new, never installed or used, never plugged in. Mint condition find and extremely rare! These come as early as the 1970's. There is a stamp on the box from March, 1999. All bearings were lubed and light works perfectly. Some light scuffs on the glass but no cracks anywhere. Nothing that takes away from this amazing piece of Budweiser history. Due to the fragile nature of this light I will only ship it via UShip straight to your door hand delivered. UShip may take as many as 6 weeks for delivery depending on your location and weather conditions. Usually within a couple weeks but delays may happen, please be forewarned. Works great!!!! Listing as used since it has a few minor scuffs on the clear plastic and I have no original box. Does not appear to have ever been used though. The shipping plate/switch cover on the bottom is still there with instructions and parts to set it up for operation. The hanging chain, ceiling mount etc show no signs whatsoever. Very few small scuffs on the clear I tried to get pics of. I did not attempt to polish them out. The plastic is crystal clear even though a few pics make it seem like there may be a haze. Rare Antique 1903 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Meyercord Ganymede Wooden Advertising Sign I am so pleased to present to all of you this extremely scarce 1903 Anheuser-Busch Budweiser Wooden sign. Meyercord of Chicago printed the litho depicting the Greek mythological character Ganymede being taken by a bald eagle, based on a drawing by F. Kirschbach in 1892.Sign is made of a 3/8 inch thick piece of wood and measures 30 inches by 20 inches.All photos taken outside in natural light.Condition is very good plus in my opinion given that it is 121 years old. Colors are bright. Lettering is excellent.There are areas that shows signs of wear, damage to right bottom corner, some minor white paint specks, back wood is peeling on left side and bottom.PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOGRAPHS CAREFULLY.These signs do not come up for sale often at all. I have included a pic of both signs together in case you are interested in both! Neat old Budweiser sign. Measures approx 20" wide x 14" high x 4" deep. Constructed of a metal backplate with hard plastic frame and a translucent train image between two pieces of glass. The Budweiser logo is reverse painted glass with a gold anodized metal frame. Illuminated by a fluorescent tube with starter and transformer and works well. It takes a few seconds to ignite, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. The cord is quite short, so you will likely need an extension cord to reach an outlet. The item is super cool and would be a great addition to any bar, man cave or collection, but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina. The Budweiser logo shows minor paint loss and staining etc. There is finish loss to the gold anodized metal logo surround. There is a little staining in areas of the hard plastic frame. I took close up pics for your review. Besides that just the normal wear and tear and patina from being over 60 years old. I would think that you would have to look long and hard to find a better example. All told a scarce and beautiful advertising piece that you will be proud to display and enjoy and wait for the compliments to roll in! Will be well packaged and insured for safe arrival.
