eBay CHEERS! You are bidding on a VINTAGE 1950s BUDWEISER BEER FISHERMEN IN A CANOE LIGHTED SIGN. This sign is both *RARE* and AWESOME in every way, and we have not found another like it! The sign itself is from a cabin in Connecticut and procured from a woman whose family owned said cabin for decades. The sign itself measures approximately 19.5" by 13.5". Considering its age and usage, the sign itself is in fantastic condition. The Budweiser 'plate' is painted glass (NO DECAL) and though it is a bit faded, it lights brilliantly! THE SIGN'S BULB IS NEW! Other than a MINIMAL crack on the top of the frame near the metal hanger (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS), there are no other dings nor scratches on the frame or metal backing (though, the metal back does show some wear). The chord is spliced and has two wire caps to make the connection. We decided to NOT tape the chord leaving it up to the new owner to decide on how to permanently connect said chord (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS). Despite this, the sign illuminates brilliantly. Came out of American Legion Hall building in Iowa mounted to the Bar Walk-in Cooler. 50% of proceeds from sale goes back to the american legion. Comes with all hoses and hookups to mount to a walk in cooler wall or man cave. It is 18" x 18" and sticks out from wall approximately 10" to tappers. It has two nice stainless steel taps with Beautiful Bow tie clear handles. Also included is a Stainless Steel drip tray which measures 17"w x 12"d x 4"h Not sure on age but was told it had been there for at least 50 years. This gem has been part of my family for almost 30 years, I’m now ready to let someone else enjoy this vintage piece. Originally, this item was on display at a liquor store my family owned in the 1990s. After that it was enjoyed as a display piece in the family home.
