I have bought and sold a few of these vintage signs in the past but have never seen one new in the box!! Holy Moly! The original paper is still on this light!! This needs to find it's way to a new home where it will be the highlight of the man cave or diva den!!This is brand new, never installed or used, never plugged in. Mint condition find and extremely rare! These come as early as the 1970's. There is a stamp on the box from March, 1999. The front reads DuBois Budweiser beer, DUBOIS BREWING CO. DUBOIS PA. I believe the sign is made from celluloid. There are a couple flaws in the celluloid and that will be shown in the pictures. The patent numbers on the back are 2237968 and 2298373 which puts it at the date of early 1941.

This is a very rare piece, made right here in St Louis. Not a light (yet) but a large, hard plastic wall hanging Budweiser Blimp. Its quite large, being about 49in long by 17in at its widest point and sticks out about 9in at its widest point. Now, the sad thing is, the propeller is broken. Two pieces of it are included that look like they could be repaired by someone more savvy. I have not done it as Im afraid that the amount of padding it would take to prevent such thin pieces to just break back off and leave glue residue stains doesnt seem worth it. Its more of a fix it and hang it thing. Or dont! It still looks awesome on display and its a unique piece. There are two holes in the back large enough that could possible accomodate bulbs if you so chose and were handy. No current hangs but easy spots in photos to attach a strong wire.
