Up for your consideration is a vintage original 1944 Anheuser Busch wooden box or crate. This is not a reproduction, this is the original crate from 1944. It has the Budweiser logo along with the date 1944 stamped on it. It still has the original alcohol tax stickers on it too, see pictures. It has two cloth strips for hinges on the lid. Also this crate is quite a bit heavier than the reproductions. Quite the rare find. Approximate Measurements The box measures 18" x 11 1/2" x 10" wide. 7.5 pounds Markings Anheuser Busch, Property, St Louis Mo, 1944, (plus much more) Condition The box is in fair to good condition. The lid is wrapped, see pictures. The wood has moderate to severe staining, nicks, scratches and discoloration, see pictures. Examine the photos closely.
