Neat old Busch Bavarian motion sign with clock. Measures approx 12" wide x 9" high x 6" deep. Constructed of hard plastic with translucent sign inserts, displaying a pinup girl with glass, a marlin fishing boat, baseball, beer bottle and beer glass. It appears that the one team is the St. Louis Cardinals, and I'm not sure about the other team, but my old eyes aren't the best! Illuminated by a single fluorescent tube and works well. It takes a few seconds to ignite when first turned on, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. There is a small rotary type switch on the side to turn the motion and light on or off, while allowing the clock to run continuously, so the bartender would not have to set the time each day. The switch is a little finicky, but I found that it works well rotating it slowly. There is a knob on the top of the globe to set the time. It is somewhat stiff, so you may want to wait to plug the clock in until the time corresponds with the clock. Will just save you some time and effort. The clock comes right on and I tested it for 24 hours and it appears to keep good time, but I cannot guarantee Rolex accuracy. The motor that makes the globes rotate takes a few minutes to warm up before operating but does run nice and smooth and quiet. The cord is only approx. 24" long, so you would likely need an extension cord to reach an outlet. The item is in very good condition, retaining nice bright colors and shine, showing only minor wear and patina. There is 1 small area on the faux woodgrain base that looks like white caulk, which you may be able to remove. I did not want to attempt, as it is quite small and hard to notice except upon close inspection. I would think that you would have to look long and hard to find a better example!
