At the top where the panels come together a few top pieces are slightly separated. The wiring is for hard wiring. But it could possibly be rewired for a plug wire. It has NOT been tested do to being hardwired. PLEASE keep this in mind when purchasing. There is a globe light in it, that has a pull cord to turn it in and off.
