Also this crate is quite a bit heavier than the reproductions. Quite the rare find. eBay MINT Vintage Wooden Anheuser-Busch Budweiser hinged Centennial beer case with certificate of Authenticity paperwork. EXACT METHODS OF CRAFTSMANSHIP USED BY THE GIDEON-ANDERSON LUMBER COMPANY WERE USED IN ITS MAKING INCLUDING SLOWLY CURING THE WOOD PRIOR TO ASSEMBLING!! THE HINGES WERE STRUCK FROM ORIGINAL DIES OF THE HAGER HINGE COMPANY AND THEY WORK PERFECTLY!! All graphics are embossed into the wood (not flat surface painted) and are very crisp. Both sides state "1876 - 1976" with logo's and branding! Besides some light surface wear, this is in OUTSTANDING condition!!! The Crate is not musty, dusty or mildew smelling whatsoever and is from a smoke free home. There's some corner scratches, marks and scuffs but overall a real gem! The COA has some minor wear, discoloration, small rips, a crease and some tape from when it was originally put inside the crate. The Crate is in good solid vintage original condition. The Crate has vintage wear but displays well! This is not a Centennial version but a Since 1876 Box. Stamped on the inside bottom of the box is Gideon Anderson Gideon Missouri. The Crate measures 17 3/4 x 12 x 11 1/2. There is a very small saw mark on the lid as is shown in one of the pictures.
