Neat old Falstaff toasting mugs sign with clock. Measures approx 12" wide x 9" high x 4" deep. Constructed of hard plastic. Illuminated by a single small fluorescent tube with starter and transformer and works well. There is a switch on the rear to turn the light on or off, while allowing the clock to run continuously so the bartender did not have to set every day. Push in and hold momentarily to light, gently pull out to turn off. The clock and toasting mugs motion motor comes right on and runs smoothly and quietly. I tested the clock for a short period and it appeared to keep good time, but I cannot guarantee Rolex accuracy! The sign is in stunning condition, and I'm certain that you will not find a better example anywhere! Could use a light dusting and cleaning. The cord has been replaced sometime in the past, why I do not know. All told a super nice example of a hard to find sign that is ready to display and enjoy and wait for the compliments to roll in! Neat old Busch Bavarian motion sign with clock. Measures approx 12" wide x 9" high x 6" deep. Constructed of hard plastic with translucent sign inserts, displaying a pinup girl with glass, a marlin fishing boat, baseball, beer bottle and beer glass. It appears that the one team is the St. Louis Cardinals, and I'm not sure about the other team, but my old eyes aren't the best! Illuminated by a single fluorescent tube and works well. It takes a few seconds to ignite when first turned on, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. There is a small rotary type switch on the side to turn the motion and light on or off, while allowing the clock to run continuously, so the bartender would not have to set the time each day. The switch is a little finicky, but I found that it works well rotating it slowly. There is a knob on the top of the globe to set the time. It is somewhat stiff, so you may want to wait to plug the clock in until the time corresponds with the clock. Will just save you some time and effort. The clock comes right on and I tested it for 24 hours and it appears to keep good time, but I cannot guarantee Rolex accuracy. The motor that makes the globes rotate takes a few minutes to warm up before operating but does run nice and smooth and quiet. The cord is only approx. 24" long, so you would likely need an extension cord to reach an outlet. The item is in very good condition, retaining nice bright colors and shine, showing only minor wear and patina. There is 1 small area on the faux woodgrain base that looks like white caulk, which you may be able to remove. I did not want to attempt, as it is quite small and hard to notice except upon close inspection. I would think that you would have to look long and hard to find a better example! Vintage 1959 Budweiser Beer Lighted Rotating Pocket Watch Sign Clock Works w box. I think this was never used because I had to install the plug onto the cord. There is a light on the top that was never installed either. It has some damage on bottom see pics. Looks like it can be glued and clamped and will be fine. Clock faces have some scratching. Probably just from being in a box for 62 years. Clock works good as do the lights. It dose not rotate . Not sure it it will when 100 percent put together. Has every original part and paperwork w instructions. Missing original packaging. Clock weights 18 lbs. Chain has some oxidation from age. My guess is it came damaged to the bar it was supposed to be used at and it got thrown aside and forgot about (Condition: Pre-Owned)
Budweiser Beer Champion Clydesdale Horse Vintage Team Bar Light Sign Clock.I found this in an abandoned storage unit that I bought. I do not have any light bulbs so I cannot check to see if it works. This item will be sold as is with no refund offered. This would be a good piece to fix up or use it for parts or display how it is. As you can see there are some wear marks on it. The four valance pieces are complete however they are missing the screws to attach it to the clock. Du Bois Budweiser Illuminated Clock. Condition is Used. Its AWESOME! It keeps fabolous time, part of american history. Very rare. There is minor discoloration on the bezel maybe a hint of rust, from sitting in a warehouse without a controlled enviroment. If you want something that is unique rare and cool, this is it.
